I have been slowly replacing things in my kitchen and getting more updated! This is a really nice utensil set by Checkered Chef. I love the stylish look it has and the black with the stainless steel makes this a nice looking set to have on the counter. These are not flimsy or come apart..They have held up great!This is a 5 piece set. The set comes with a stainless steel utensil holder that has holes all the way around it. You get 5 utensils, a slotted spoon, spoon, ladle, spatula and tongs. They are made with 18/10 stainless steel handles and nylon & silicone heads. There is little hangers on the end of the utensils so they can even be hung up if you like. I did give this set 4 stars instead of 5 because the slotted spoon was missing the hanger piece. Otherwise this would be a 5 star set to me. I like that they are strong flexible and have been good to cook with. The silicone is nice to use because it doesn't scratch or scuff up my pans. I never thought there was much of a difference in spatulas and kitchen utensils and stuff. I was very wrong. The quality of this set is above five stars. It comes with everything you need as far as kitchen utensils. The handles are sturdy and even have hooks if you prefer to hang them instead of using the stainless steel container that comes with it. I like that there are holes in the canister so if I put them back wet, the air can still get to them to speed up the drying process. The tongues have a lock at the bottom that make them easy to open and close. The soft silicone prevents the utensils from scratching your pans. Unlike the hard plastic spatulas that I have used and ruined pans with.
