When I needed a new set of nonstick frying pans I turned to these!!! I have purchased other items from utopia and have yet to be let down! These pans are really nice! They are aluminum so they are nice and light weight. They are said to be oven safe which is perfect for just getting the right sear on a piece of food then finishing it off in the over! These pans are perfect non stick pans too. Their two layer scratch resistant coating seems to work just fine! Cookware set includes one 8" Inch, one 9.5" Inch, and one 11" Inch. They are oven resistant to 350* which is just about what all my ovens stick to. They say that they are dishwasher safe but I strongly never recommend anyone stick any nonstick pans in the dishwasher!!!!! They just bounce around and those constant high heat and jets can cause the coating to not last as long... They are truly non stick, they don't have any apparent hotspots (surprising for something this inexpensive) and the overall quality is quite acceptable given their price. The three things I wanted out of a pan were easy to clean, not stick dishwasher safe, and oven safe to keep the food warm as you are cooking something else. I have a gas stove and all of these pans work perfectly for all of my cooking needs. The variety of different sizes are good for when I want to cook stuff separately then add them together. I am so happy to and relieved to finally find some pans that fit my cooking style and budget. They are very durable and easy to use. |
